Classic Fruit Crisp

Using Rosy’s Fruit Crisp Topping Mix, you can use seasonal fruit to create your own delicious fresh-out-of-the-oven treat for everyone to enjoy! There are so many options and combinations, you can try as many as you’d like.

The real classic is straight-up Apple Crisp - delicious year round, but especially with fresh autumn fruit. When choosing your apples - make sure to choose a variety that bakes well. My two favourites are Courtland and McIntosh.

Another family favourite is peaches. But what other fruit are good candidates? How about strawberries and rhubarb, pears, cherries, blueberries, apples with raspberries or mixed berries. You can add some chopped pecans or walnuts to the crisp topping for some extra crunch.

The great thing is that you can even use frozen fruit for a crisp which means no peeling or chopping, just a fast and easy dessert. Want to make it extra special? Just add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or dairy-free frozen dessert and let it melt into the warm crisp.
